Onepay is launching an integrated payment system to allow Yangon users to make tax payments direct to the YCDC.

Taxes set by the Yangon City Development Committee (YCDC) include land and property taxes, as well as water and garbage collection fees and these can now be paid seamlessly through the Onepay app using a taxpayer ID.

U Aung Zeya Myo, Deputy Managing Director of Onepay Company Limited said, “We’re pleased to be able to offer this service to our customers in Yangon. We want to help simplify the process of paying taxes, and this new feature means that bills can be paid without having to visit a branch.

“We want our customers to have a simple, secure and convenient service, and we’re always looking at new ways of supporting our customers and communities.”
Myanmar’s very first interbank service with the support of its official banking partner, AGD Bank allows users to transfer money between Asia Green Development Bank (AGD), Ayeyarwady Bank (AYA), Co-operative Bank (CB) Kanbawza Bank (KBZ) and Yoma Bank.
